A Senior District Court 3 Lafia, Nasarawa State have restrained the embattled Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC, Aliyu Bello, from parading himself as a member of the party or its Chairman.

This followed a motion file by the Counsel to APC Chairman of Gayam Electoral Ward of lafia local government area of Nasarawa State, Ibrahim Illiyasu.

The order signe by Senior District Judge of the Court Abdullahi Lanze, explained that the prayer was granted after listening to the application made by the applicant’s counsel.

The order specifically restrained Aliyu Bello, whether by himself, his agents, privies, supporters, or any person acting on his behalf, authority or direction, from further parading himself as a party member or its Chairman.

He is also restrained from issuing statements, carrying out functions or acting in any manner whatsoever, through media or otherwise, as a member or Chairman of APC pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

Radio Nigeria, reports that the APC Chairman of Gayam Ward, alongside 13 other officials, had on Tuesday, July 3, suspended the state chairman from the party for alleged anti-party activities.
