The Kaduna State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare and security of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members deployed to the State.

Governor Uba Sani stated this at the swearing-in ceremony of the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One corps members at the NYSC temporary orientation camp in Kaduna.

Representing the governor, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Ms. Gloria Ibrahim, urged the corps members to settle into their new environment and use the NYSC platform to contribute to national development.

He described the NYSC scheme as an important instrument for developing young Nigerians and promoting national integration.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Abubakar Bawa, commended the state government for renovating facilities at the temporary orientation camp and urged the corps members to participate fully in camp activities, particularly the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme.

A total of 2,995 corps members were sworn in to commence the orientation exercise.
