The Borno state government has released the sum of 19.3 million naira as scholarship allowance to fifty nine indigenes of the state recently admitted into Nigeria Law school campuses across the country. 

At a media briefing in Maiduguri, Executive Secretary state Scholarship Board Malam Bala Isa said the allowance provided is for registration for 2021/2022 academic session.

According to the Executive Secretary, the assistance is part of Governor Babagana Zulum’s commitment to support Borno state students at all level of education.

“His Excellency, the Governor of Borno State has approved and released the sum of 19,392,000 naira as allowances to students admitted into the Nigerian Law school in various campuses across the country ” Malam Bala announced. 

Malam Isa urged the beneficiaries to put in their best and make the state proud at the end of the one year programme. 

He also expressed appreciation to the Governor for prompt release of scholarship to students within and outside the country.
