The People’s Democratic Party Plateau State Chapter has elected its executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.

The three day long activity took place at the Langfield Leisure Park in Jos, Plateau State.

The newly elected chairman Chris Hassan emerged winner with a total of one thousand, five hundred and twenty six votes beating his closest contender Bitrus Kaze who scored one hundred and eighty six votes.

Chris in his acceptance speech said together with his contender will work assiduously to build on the robust reconciliation process witnessed at the congress to boost the party.

In a goodwill message, Bitrus Kaze who lost in the chairmanship election said he accepted the outcome of the results and is bound to it and is very ready to continue to work for the interest of the party.

Leader of the party and former governor of Plateau State Jonah Jang in his vote of thanks, applauded the exercise and called on aggrieved members to come reunite and work as one to return the party to power come twenty twenty three

Thirty-eight newly elected state executives were sworn in by Barrister Sunny Odey, charging them all to carry out their respective offices with integrity and diligence.
