Jigawa State government says it has approved the release of over 982 million naira payment of compensation to property owners whose structures are
affected by the construction of the Kafin Hausa Township road.
The State Commissioner Information, Alhaji Sagir Musa Ahmed disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the state executive council meeting held at government house Dutse.
According to him, the council approval is a direct manifestation of the present
administration’s commitment to urban and rural development, a key pillar enshrined in Governor Namadi’s 12-Point Agenda aimed at modernizing infrastructure and improving connectivity across all parts of the state.
He explained that, the construction of the Kafin Hausa township road is expected to drastically improve local
transportation networks, reduce travel time, stimulate local trade, and elevate the overall living standards of the community.
Sagir said, the council called on the residents and affected property owners of Kafin Hausa to continue to extend their maximum cooperation to the ministry of works, surveyors, and
contractors to ensure the smooth, timely, and successful execution of the project.
