Kwara State Government says it will conduct Common Entrance (Placement) Examination into Junior Secondary Schools across the sixteen local government areas of the state on Saturday, 26th July, 2025.

The state Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, disclosed this at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ilorin.

He said necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

Dr. Olohungbebe explained that the examination will commence at 8:00 a.m. prompt at designated centres across the state, adding that pupils, parents, and school administrators should adhere strictly to the examination guidelines.

The Commissioner expressed appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for the full sponsorship of the examination .

He also warned that any principal or head teacher found collecting illegal fees from pupils will face the full weight of the law.
