Former President Goodluck Jonathan says they will continue to celebrate the former Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida IBB, because he standout clearly as one of those leaders that want the best for Nigeria.
He said General IBB has done his best as a military Head Of State for the country, that is why up to today his house is like a Mecca of Saudi Arabia where people visit regularly for consultations and sharing of ideas for the good of Nigeria.
Former President Goodluck Jonathan stated this when he visited the Hilltop residence of General Babangida to celebrate with him on his eighty fourth year birthday.
According to him IBB is not a sectional leader but is somebody that believed in the unity of Nigeria, and that is why his friends cut across every corners of Nigeria.
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan however maintained that they will continue to pray for his long life to enable him mentor the younger once to behave in similar manner.
The former President added that Nigeria has produce a lot of leaders since I independence to date but General Ibrahim Badamasi Babgida clearly standout as a patriot.
