In a bold move to strengthen transparency and public accountability, the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation will host a two-day citizen-government engagement forum in Kaduna on Tuesday, July 29 and Wednesday, July 30, 2025, aimed at evaluating the performance of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The interactive event will bring together Federal Government officials, policy experts, and everyday citizens to discuss critical national issues across key sectors, including National Security, Agriculture, Infrastructure, Social Services, Governance, and the Economy.

In a statement signed by the Foundation’s Director-General, Engr. (Dr.) Abubakar Gambo Umar, the forum is described as a platform to “bridge the gap between government policy and public perception,” ensuring that citizens are not only heard but also informed.

“There is a pressing need for honest conversations between the government and the governed,” Umar stated. “This engagement is designed to dispel misinformation, enhance transparency, and promote a culture of responsive governance.”

He further emphasized the Foundation’s dedication to fostering national progress through open dialogue and inclusive participation.

“As a Foundation, we remain deeply committed to the ideals of our founding father, Sir Ahmadu Bello, who championed service, accountability, and unity. We believe this event will contribute meaningfully to socio-economic development and democratic consolidation in Nigeria,” he said.

The event, scheduled for July 29 and 30, 2025, will feature interactive panel sessions, keynote addresses, and public Q&A forums, encouraging real-time feedback between citizens and government representatives.

The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation continues to honor the legacy of the late Premier of Northern Nigeria by supporting initiatives that foster accountability, unity, and progress across the nation.
