The third batch of 560 intending pilgrims from Kwara State have departed Ilorin for Saudi Arabia to perform 2025 Hajj exercise.
Addressing the Intending pilgrims before their departure, the State Amirul-Hajj, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Barrister Ismail Yahaya -Alebiosu urged them to conduct themselves well throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia.
He commended the state government for it’s support towards ensuring a hitch free exercise.
The third batch was led by five NAHCON officials and 3 State officials, among others important personalities which makes the total number of Intending pilgrims so far airlifted from Kwara to Saudi Arabia to stand at 1,535.
The fourth and last batch of intending pilgrims are expected to be airlifted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tentatively on Monday 19th May, 2025, completing the total number of 2,174 Intending pilgrims from Kwara expected to participate in this year’s Hajj exercise.
