In line with the Kano State Government’s commitment to strengthening security across the state, the Chairman of Ungogo Local Government Council, Tijjani Aminu Bilyaminu Rangaza, has inaugurated members of the Neighbourhood Security Committee in the area.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Rangaza urged the committee members to work closely with conventional security agencies to safeguard lives and property in Ungogo Local Government.

The chairman assured the committee of the council’s readiness to provide necessary logistical support to enhance their operations.

He also charged the members to remain disciplined and serve as good ambassadors of the local government wherever they find themselves.

Rangaza further called on residents of Ungogo to cooperate with the security committee to ensure effective performance of their duties.

In his remarks, the Ungogo Local Government Commander of the Neighbourhood Security Committee, Sabi’u Abubakar, expressed gratitude to the council chairman for his continuous support. He urged committee members to reciprocate the gesture through dedication, commitment, and professionalism.

He also commended Hon. Rangaza for creating employment opportunities for youths in the area through the establishment of the security outfit.
