Kwara State Ministry of Environment has intercepted spoilt goods and seal off a cold room where spoiled fish were being sold to members of the public in the state.

Commissioner for Environment, Hajiya Nafisat Musa Buge, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen in Ilorin.

She said it is unbecoming of any trade outlet, where products for human consumptions are being sold to trade in spoiled products.

The Commissioner warned business owners, to desist from trading in unhealthy items ,noting that it is inhuman, against the laws, and ungodly.

Hajiya Buge urged residents to continue to prioritise their health by actively participating in sanitation exercise to make their environment healthy .
