Kaduna State Government has donated a plot of land to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps-NSCDC for the building of its new headquarters.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new headquarters, Governor Uba Sani explained that the occasion marks a significant milestone in NSCDC’s commitment to enhancing its operational capabilities as a critical security agency.

Represented by the Commissioner for internal security and home affairs Dr James Kanyip, the Governor underscored the need to provide the NSCDC personnel with a facility that reflects their mission to protect critical national assets and maintain public safety.

 

 

 

Governor Sani added that his administration has made security a top priority with a sustained and unwavering commitment to supporting federal security agencies in the State.

In his message to the event, the Commandant General of the NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Audi expressed the willingness of the corps to partner the State Government in its effort to improve the security situation across the State.

 

 

 

Represented by ACG Haruna Bala Zurmi, the Commandant General thanked the State Government for the the gesture, describing it as a morale booster.

 

 

In his remarks, the State Commandant of the NSCDC, Muhammad Dansadau noted that the event marks the beginning of an important project aimed at enhancing the corps’ operational capacity in the State.
