Nasarawa state government says all is set to commence the payment of fifty percent salary bonus this week to state civil servants.

A statement signed and issued to newsmen in lafia, by the state accountant general Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed said, the payment of the fifty percent salary bonus which will commence on twenty seven of this month is the first in the history since the creation of the state.

According to the statement, the decision to pay the bonus separately from the december, salaries is in compliance to proper accounting procedures and convenience.

‎The statement explained that, the governor’s gesture underscore the administration’s commitment to the welfare of workers and the citizens in the state.

‎” It is a clear demonstration of the governor’s appreciation for workers’ dedication, resilience, and service to the state throughout the year, the statement added……”

‎” While wishing all citizens happy holidays, we are optimistic that civil servants in the state will reciprocate his excellency’s consideration and magnanimity through renewed dedication to their assigned responsibilities, it said………”
