A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr. Jamilu Gwamna, has commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as the peaceful and rancour-free conduct of the party’s ward and local government congresses across the state.

In a statement, Dr. Jamilu Gwamna attributed the smooth conduct of the congresses to Governor Yahaya’s effective, inclusive, and strategic leadership, describing him as a unifier and a courageous party leader.

He noted that the congresses were successfully held across 114 wards, 11 local government areas, and 13 local council development areas through consensus, without any reported cases of violence, chaos, or tension.

According to him, the peaceful outcome of the exercise did not occur by chance but was a result of deliberate leadership that ensured a level playing field for all stakeholders.

Dr. Jamilu Gwamna said the successful congresses reflected the APC’s core values of justice, peace, and unity, adding that the development further strengthened cohesion within the party in Gombe State.

He urged party stakeholders to continue supporting Governor Yahaya as he leads the APC in the state towards the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Gwamna also expressed confidence that the APC would remain united and resilient, consolidating the achievements of the current administration while working towards the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
