The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, has attributed the continued growth and mass defection into the APC to the leadership style of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his effective governance at the national level.
Alhaji Dangaladima made the statement while speaking with newsmen in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
He expressed satisfaction with the growing strength and unity of the APC, noting that the party is increasingly being embraced by people from various political backgrounds.
“Alhamdulillah, the number of opposition PDP governors is declining, and many members from other political parties are returning to the APC. This positive development is a result of the excellent leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
Alhaji Ibrahim Dangaladima highlighted that, despite the party’s loss in the 2023 general elections in Zamfara, APC leaders in the state remained committed and ensured the party remained united and vibrant across all levels.
He commended former Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar for his unwavering support to the people and APC members, especially through various gestures during festive periods and other important occasions among others.
“Our respected leader, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, has consistently supported party members. During Eid-el-Fitr, Eid-el-Kabir, and at other times, he has been generous in assisting the people in different ways,” he added.
Alhaji Dangaladima also praised the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, for his continuous efforts in supporting both party members and the general public.
He emphasized that, the contributions of these key political figures in Zamfara State are instrumental and cannot be overemphasized.
Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima further acknowledged the efforts of former Governor Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura and other APC stakeholders in promoting unity and progress within the party in the state.
According to him, there is no doubt that, APC remains a strong political force in Zamfara State, despite the 2023 election results, which occurred according to the will of Allah.
Alhaji Dangaladima reaffirmed the commitment of the party leadership to strengthening internal unity, urging members to rally around the party’s symbol the broom.
He prayed for the APC’s success in the 2027 elections and expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would secure another national victory, both in Zamfara and across the country.
He concluded by calling on all APC members in Zamfara to remain patient, united, and supportive of the party’s leadership to ensure continued success.
