In a bid to promote excellence and accountability, the Kano State Police Command has organized a lecture for supervising officers.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, emphasized the importance of professionalism and adherence to human right standards in the discharge of their duties.
CP Dogo stressed that principles of professionalism and respecting human rights are non-negotiable and must guide the actions of all police officers.
He urged Officers and Men to maintain the highest level of discipline, integrity, and transparency in their interactions with the public.
“The police force is entrusted with the sacred responsibility of protecting lives and properties, and this responsibility must be discharged in a manner consistent with human rights and the rule of law.”
The lecture was well-received by the supervising officers, who acknowledged the importance of upholding the highest standards of professionalism and human rights in their daily work.
According to the CP, this development is in line with the command’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and respect for human rights.
The CP added that, the command has strengthened partnerships with key stakeholders, including the National Hajj Commission and the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO).
