The Kebbi State Commissioner for Higher Education, Isa Abubakar Tunga, says the state had spent over two point seven billion naira (₦2.727 billion) to local and international students in various University around the World within one year.

The State Commissioner, who disclosed this to newsmen at a press briefing stated that, the Governor also approved the sum of ₦117.200 million for twenty five Students in various Universities in Egypt.

He equally said the state government has released the sum of ₦14.4 million as return tickets to eight Students of Kebbi State who have completed their medical studies in India.

Abubakar Tunga, expressed the Ministry’s appreciation to governor Nasiru Idris, towards promoting academic and moral excellence in Tertiary Education in the state.
