The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar has directed the Muslims faithful in the country to start looking for the new crescent of Muharram Tomorrow, 17th of July 2023 equivalent Islamic calendar 29th of Dhul-Hijjah 1444AH .
In a statement signed by the chairman advisory committee on religious affairs, Sultanate council Sokoto state, Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu says if sighted, the information should be forwarded to the nearest village or district head for onward communication to the Sultan of Sokoto.
