The 47th Kaduna International Trade Fair witnessed a landmark celebration as the Dangote Group marked its Special Day, showcasing its commitment to local content development, industrialisation, and economic transformation.

Speaking at the event, the Regional Director/ Senior Special Adviser to Group President, (SR&SP) Dangote Group Hajiya Fatima Abdurrahman Wali delivered a comprehensive address highlighting the company’s Vision 2030 strategy.

She outlined bold expansion plans, including the refinery’s growth to 1 million barrels per day, fertiliser production of 12 million metric tonnes annually, and cement output projected to reach 90 million tonnes by 2030.

“local content development is not a slogan, but the foundation of our business philosophy. Nigeria’s prosperity must be built by Nigerians, using Nigerian resources, for the benefit of Nigerian communities” She emphasized.

These initiatives, she noted, are designed to reduce import dependence, strengthen domestic supply chains, and empower Nigerian farmers and entrepreneurs.

Beyond industry, the Group reaffirmed its social impact, announcing a ₦1 trillion education support initiative through the Aliko Dangote Foundation.

“Today, we celebrate not just a corporate organisation, but a symbol of Nigerian enterprise, resilience, and industrial excellence,” Suleiman declared.

He recognised Aliko Dangote’s visionary leadership, ably represented at the event by Hajia Fatima Wali Abdulrahman.

He noted that the Trade Fair’s theme, “From Reforms to Results: Economic Transformation through Sustained Local Content Development,” perfectly aligns with Dangote’s philosophy of backward integration, local manufacturing, and value chain development.
