Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration will continue to maintain synergy and harmonious relationship with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies to ensure safety and security in the state.
AbdulRazq stated this when he received the General Officer Commanding 2 Division of Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Major General Aminu Shehu Chinade on a familiarisation visit in Ilorin.
The governor who was represented by his Deputy Kayode Alabi, said the state is peaceful following the support and cooperation from the Nigerian Army and other security agencies.
AbdulRazq said his administration will continue to cooperate with the security agencies , adding that without security, no meaningful development can be achieved.
He maintained that there is the need to secure the state to attract investor.
In his remark the General Officer Commanding 2 Division of Nigeria Army Ibadan ,Major General Aminu Shehu Chinade solicited the continued support and cooperation of the state government towards achieving the desired goals of ensuring security of lives and property of the people.
