Zamfara state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party PDP has distanced self from some media reports that, the zamfara state PDP working committee has suspended their chairman col, Bala Mande retired.
The party Publicity Secretary Alhaji Abba Bello Ouando made this known to newsmen at a press briefing held at the Command Guest House Gusau.
Abba Bello said, he was in Abuja when he saw a letter going round on social media that PDP chairman Col, Bala Mande was suspended due to anti party activities and the letter was signed by him.
Commenting on the issue, the PDP Deputy Chairman Professor Bashir Jabaka said, the press briefing became necessary to clear the air .
Jabaka explained that, the information was not true, and called on all their supporters to disregard the fabricated information.
Bashir Jabaka who is the Deputy Chairman of the party said he was not the one who wrote the letter, adding that they would fish out those behind the mischief, as far as they know Col, Bala Mande is the substantive PDP Party Chairman in the state.
