The Former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has dismissed as false a circulating story that falsely attributes comments to him about a so-called “Hausa Insurgency” and its alleged sponsors.

The fabricated report claims that Mr. Mohammed made these remarks during an interview with SPLASHFM 105.5 in Ibadan.

In a press release by the Former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed categorically stated that he has never made any comment regarding a “Hausa insurgency” on any platform.

He urged the public to disregard the purported interview, warning that such fabrications are the product of deliberate misinformation campaigns aimed at misleading and creating confusion.
