The Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna says electricity consumers KEDCO in Kano, Katsina, and Jigawa states will be experiencing an increase in efficient power supply.

Gwamna stated this when he inspected the new branded transformers and accessories that were procured by KEDCO, with the of enhancing power supply.

He said the Central Bank of Nigeria had recently intervened in the power sector, which was targeted at enhancing power delivery.

” We appreciate the efforts of the governor of the central bank, the minister of power, and all other stakeholders for this intervention”

The managing director said with the intervention all the needed accessories required to enhance power supply have been provided, while new feeders were under construction to reduce the load of the areas that were congested.

Dr. Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna who inspected the newly procured transformers and Accessories expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the equipment and assured that the power supply in Kano, katsina, and Jigawa states would be improved.

He also inspected the ongoing construction of additional feeders at farm center Kano, to enhance effective service delivery.
