2023 Election: Emir Of Dutse Endorses Ameachi To Contest Presidential Position

The Emir of Dutse Dr Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi has endorsed the Minister of Transport, Chief Rotimi Ameachi to contest the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023.

Dr Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi who stated this when he received the presidential hopeful at his palace in Dutse, jigawa state capital, described the minister as a nationalist, detribalised, reliable, honest and competent to lead Nigeria.

He explained that the North and the whole of Nigeria could not forget the sacrifice made by the minister in 2015 by supporting President Muhammad Buhari, a situation that made him had so many enemies.

According to him, Ameachi is a bridges builder, an honest and confident person, these and many more are leadership qualities and he possessed all of them.

Ameachi is also an experienced Nigerian, he was a lawmaker for eight years, governor for eight years and now a minister for another eight years, he added

Earlier, the the Chairman Senate Committee on Army, Senator Ali Ndume who was part of Amaechi’s team, said, they chose to support the quest because he was tested and trusted.

“We believe in him and we need someone like him to lead Nigeria. And Traditional Institutions must be involved in fixing our country

Ali Ndume assured that, if Amaechi becomes the next president of Nigeria, more recognition and role would be given to the traditional institution for peace and economic development of the country.

In a remark, Chief Rotimi Ameachi promised to ensure timely completion of the Kano-Dutse rail line and all other ongoing rail projects to facilitate easy movement of goods and services across the country.

“I’m here to seek the support of Nigerians and Jigawa people to vote for me in 2023. This is because I know I have what it takes to be the next president of Nigeria”

The minister also promised if elected, would run an open government that listens to advice from elders, statesmen, experts and professionals on any matter of national interest.
