Federal government is planning to establish one sample collection centre in every Local Government Area across the country.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha made this known at their national briefing on Monday, 13 July, 2020 in Abuja.
He disclosed that a sample collection centre has been set up at all government hospitals in the FCT.
Mr. Boss Mustapha reiterated that contacting COVID-19 is not a death sentence, but not presenting oneself for testing or treatment when symptoms become observable could likely lead to avoidable death.
Meanwhile, PTF has announced suspension of all unnecessary travel for meetings by government officials until further notice.
