Nigerians have been advised to embrace godliness to enable them overcome the challenges facing the country.

Assistant District Superintendent, Assemblies of God Church, Nasarawa Road- Kaduna District, Reverend Paul Adim stated this at the  Annual Overcomers Rendezvous programme of the church with the theme ‘’On Eagle’s Wings held in Kaduna.

Reverend Paul Adim explained that the annual event was targeted at building the capacity of Nigerians to always stand firm in God at all times regardless of the challenges bedeviling the nation.

According to Reverend Paul Adim, the annual programme was a period of renewal that would enhance participant’s spiritual growth and development.

He called on Nigerians not to panic over the current corona virus pandemic but remain steadfast in prayers and adhere strictly to hygiene and other measures put in place by Government to prevent the spread of the virus.

In a message, Guest Speaker and Assistant Superintendent, Assemblies of God Church, Jos Mainland District, Reverend Declan Onyebuchi urged Nigerians to daily reconnect back to God and acknowledge His supreme power.

The Clergy said Christians who serve a God of signs and wonders can overcome calamities through divine protection .
