Jigawa State Government has reaffirmed its determination to boost service delivery at the local Government level.
Special Assistant to the State Governor on Community mobilization, Alhaji Habibu Isma’ila Maliya disclosed this during a familiarization tour to Gumel local Government.
He said self help groups are playing vital role towards community development at the grassroot level.
Alhaji Habibu Isma’ila urged them to channel their immediate needs to the Ministry for local Government for prompt action.
Responding, the acting chairman of the local council, Haladu Musa Mele said he would continue to emulate Governor Umar Namadi on the provision of social amenities to the people.
He reaffirmed the council’s determination to work together with all the departments for the development of the local government.
