The 37 State Coordinators Forum of the Buhari Support Organizations BSO, have unanimously requested for the Minister of Agriculture and Chairman of BSO convene an emergency meeting for the Organization to respond appropriately to the allegations going round the social media on the allegations of embezzlement of campaign funds levelled against him.

In a letter signed by the Zonal Coordinators of the BSO on behalf of other members, the Organization drew the attention of the Minister to the negative consequences of the Organization’s silence especially the likely spillover effect on the image of the President whose rating has recently taken quite a bashing from across sections of the Country.

“The Buhari Support Organizations to urgently convene a stakeholders meeting to respond to the allegations making rounds on social media which accused him of diverting Hundreds of Millions of Naira from the purse of the Organization which was originally pooled together to support the campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 elections.” Said the statement.

Meanwhile, as of the time of filing this report, there has not been any official response from the Minister who was on the entourage of the President at the just concluded official trip to Turkey.
