Speaking at the ceremonies, Governor Idris said the projects were part of his campaign promises and reflected his administration’s determination to improve road infrastructure, ease transportation and connect rural communities to urban centres and economic opportunities.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to executing development projects that directly address the needs of the people, stressing that rural communities would continue to receive attention under his administration.

Governor Idris added that, improved road infrastructure would enhance the movement of people and goods, facilitate the transportation of agricultural produce and strengthen commercial interactions among neighbouring communities.

Residents of the benefiting communities commended the Governor for initiating the projects, expressing optimism that the roads, upon completion, would ease transportation difficulties, improve access to essential services and create better opportunities for farmers, traders and other residents.

The projects underscore the administration’s commitment to extending infrastructure development beyond major urban centres and improving connectivity for communities across Kebbi State.
