Jigawa state Government says it will establish 200 new nomadic schools and also employ 10 herders from each of the 27 local government areas of the state.

Governor Badaru Abubakar disclosed this when he received the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Jigawa state Chapter at government House Dutse.

According to him, the present administration is focused on ensuring that every citizen of the state benefited from the state government’s effort to increase access to education as well as improve the living standard of herders across the state.

Earlier, the state Chairman of the Association Mallam Adamu Adamu commended the state government in its effort to ensure that there is peaceful coexistence between farmers and herders across the state.

He also said that with the support from the state government, the members of the association will continue to do their best to ensure continious peaceful coexistence in the state.

Mallam Adamu pointed out that the association would fish out any criminal elements among them.
