Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has inspected the ongoing construction of a 250-unit housing estate being developed between Ambursa and Zauro in Birnin Kebbi local government area of the state.

The Governor made an unscheduled visit to the project site while returning from Sokoto, where he expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of work so far executed by the contractor.

He reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the welfare of the people of Kebbi State, particularly civil servants, while ensuring good governance and the implementation of projects that have a direct positive impact on the lives of citizens.

Idris also expressed delight over the progress of the project and commended the contractor for the quality of work being delivered and assured the company that, based on its performance, more contracts would be awarded to it in the near future.

Earlier, the Site Manager of the Construction Company, Mr. Mansur Aliyu Dakingari, thanked Governor Nasir Idris for considering the company for the project and awarding the contract to it.

He assured the Governor that the project would be completed in accordance with the approved contract specifications and within the stipulated standards.
