President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received copies of the proposed 2027 budget of the United Nations, highlighting Nigeria’s role in international budgetary and administrative affairs.

Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Jimoh Ibrahim, presented the seven-volume budget document to the President at the State House, Abuja.

Ambassador Ibrahim, who chairs the United Nations budget and administrative committee, explained that although the proposed budget is still subject to scrutiny and approval by member states, presenting it to President Tinubu underscores Nigeria’s participation in the organisation’s decision-making process.
