A week long train the trainers engagement, organized for some Islamiyya school teachers and preachers spread across the twenty five Local Government Areas of Niger state has ended with a call on them to intensify their efforts for the search of knowledge.

Organized by the Saudi Arabian Government in collaboration with Ar Rayyan Foundation Bosso, Niger state was intended to inculcate moral and sound Islamic values for Islamiyya school teaches that would be stepped down to their students to achieve the desired objective.

In his remarks, Chairman Association of Niger State Students of Islamic University Madina Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Haruna Doba described the event (Daura) as a huge success and spoke of plans by Association to increase the number of the educative gathering pending the availability of resources because it required huge some of money to ensure it’s success.

He however explained that a total of one hundred and eleven Islamiyya teachers spread across the twenty five Local Government Areas of Niger state attended the week long train the trainers engagement including men and women that have demonstrated high level of commitment to the programme.

Secretary of the Association, Sheikh Attahiru Bala Dukku, appealed to the teachers to step down what they have learnt during the week long event to achieve the desired objective of removing the youths from all sort of social vices to became successful leaders of tomorrow.

Sheikh Attahiru Bal Dukku, would also wants the teachers that have attended the event to excalate the message through Da’awa to succeed in the task ahead.

In an interview at the occasion, Chairman Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Sheikh Abubakar Rabiu Beji explained that the programme which was sponsored by some well meaning individuals in the society, will be expanded next year to enable them capture about five hundred students, because they plan to extend its invitation for support from the Niger state Government.

Speaking to Newsmen, Special Adviser to the Niger State Governor on Islamiyya Schools, Ustaz Abdullahi Arab Yabagi, said they intend to submit a proposal on the need for Governor Umar Bago to sponsor brilliant students to study abroad.

Representatives of both the male and female students, Sheikh Muhammad Sani Kuta and Malama Fatima Gambo thanked the organizers of  the programme including  the Saudi Arabian Government and Ar Rayyan Islamic Foundation for enhancing and updating their knowledge, and called for the increase in the number of programmes per year instead of one that was held annually.

Certificates were presented to the students as a mark of appreciation by executive members of the Association, signifying the end of the week long event.
