The Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund-PTDF, Professor Shuaibu Shehu Aliyu, has reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to maintaining industrial harmony and promoting staff development.

He gave the assurance while receiving the Kaduna Zonal leadership of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, on a courtesy visit at the PTDF Towers in Abuja.

Professor Shu’aibu Shehu Aliyu reiterated PTDF’s commitment to constructive engagement, staff development, and fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration.

Earlier, the NUPENG Zonal Secretary, Comrade Lawrence David, who introduced the newly elected Zonal Chairman, Comrade Haruna Abdullahi, said the visit was to strengthen the longstanding relationship between the Union and the Fund.

He expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship between NUPENG and PTDF over the years, and reaffirmed the Union’s commitment to sustained collaboration and industrial harmony.

Comrade Lawrence therefore appealed for continued investment in staff capacity development and initiatives aimed at improving employees’ welfare and productivity.

The meeting ended with both parties reaffirming their commitment to sustaining a productive relationship that supports staff welfare, organisational effectiveness, and the successful delivery of PTDF’s mandate.
