The Minister of State in the Federal Ministry of Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, has reiterated the commitment of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to ensuring the completion of the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano highway and other major road projects across Northern Nigeria.

The Minister, Barrister Bello Goronyo (ESQ), made the statement during an inspection visit to assess the progress of the work and to ensure that contractors are delivering quality work under strict supervision.

The inspection started from Tungan Maje, Madalla, Zuma Resort, Sabon Wuse, Jere, Abuja Junction, and Gwanin Gora, and continued through Zaria to Kano, where work is also progressing steadily.

The Minister further urged the construction company handling the projects—.Infiouest International Limited to ensure they complete the work by the end of 2026, in line with the directive of the President.

Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo explained that President Tinubu is deeply concerned about the hardship travelers face while using the road, which is why the government has prioritized its completion.

He noted that the companies involved have already pledged to complete the project within the agreed timeframe and deliver the work according to the required standards.

This inspection visit was conducted based on the President’s directive to the Minister of State for Works, Honourable Bello Muhammad Goronyo (ESQ), to continuously monitor the progress of the project to ensure everything is going as planned.
