The Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Kaduna National Station, Haruna Idris, has urged staff of the Corporation to remain committed and dedicated to their duties while still in service.

He gave the charge during a send-forth ceremony organized by the Programmes Department in honour of Alhaji Habibu Tabari, who retired after thirty-five years of meritorious service with Radio Nigeria Kaduna.

Haruna Idris congratulated the celebrant and encouraged staff to emulate his exemplary virtues of hard work, humility, and professionalism.

He stressed the need for continuous learning and adaptation to meet growing competition in the broadcast industry for the growth and development of the Corporation.



‎The Zonal Director further noted that retired officers with vast experience like Alhaji Tabari remain valuable assets whose knowledge and expertise could continue to benefit the organization.

‎In his remarks, the Deputy Director, Programmes, Alhaji Idris Yahaya, described the celebrant as a model of commitment and integrity, adding that his dedication to duty would continue to inspire other staff.

‎Responding, Alhaji Habibu Tabari expressed profound gratitude to God and appreciation to the management and staff of the Corporation for the honour done to him, describing his 35-year journey in service as fulfilling.



‎Highlights of the event included the presentation of an award of recognition to the celebrant for his outstanding service to the Corporation.

‎The ceremony was attended by Lawal Ali Garba, Deputy Director, Outside Broadcasting and Sports; Sani Bello Ismail, Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs; Aisha Abubakar of Supreme FM; Shamsudeen Abdul Dewo, Manager, Programmes; and other members of staff.
