Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau has expressed deep shock over the news of the demise of former Minister of FCT State Barrister Solomon Akku Ewuga.

The Speaker in a statement by his Press Secretary Jibrin Gwamna described the death of the one time deputy governor in the state as a big loss to the state and nigeria at large.

The statement quotes the Speaker as saying that the passing on of the former senator representing nasarawa north was one death too many to bear for eggon nation and the entire state.

“An Iroko Tree has fallen, a philanthropist and an outstanding politician has went home to rest, may God Almighty be pleased with his soul” the Speaker said.

Speaker Danladi Jatau described Senator Solomon Ewuga as a bridge builder who has touched many lives positively, champions the cause of peace, unity and development in the society and has made great impact and contributions in both politics and other aspects of humanity.

The nasarawa state number three citizen called on all to see his demise as the will of God and continue to pray for him to have eternal peace.

Dr. Danladi Jatau who eulogized the good virtues of Solomon Ewuga prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds.
