At least five thousand Civil Servants in Kaduna State have sat for the twenty-twenty-five Civil Service Confirmation Examination held in three Zonal Centres in the Kaduna State.

The State Head of Service  Mrs Jummai Bako made this known to newsmen shortly after going round the three Zonal centres to ascertain the conduct of the examination in Kaduna.

Mrs Jummai Bako explained that her inspection in the three zonal centres of Kafanchan campus, federal college of education Zaria, and Kaduna State University centre have shown that the exercise is going on smoothly and the candidates were fully prepared for the examination.

“I have inspected all the venues and I am impress with the turnout and even the manner at which the exams is been conducted. I am happy that for even those that have little issues, we have the invigilators and we have my staff that are there to attend to them”, she said.

According to her, “we have estimated five thousand people, aleast three thousand from zone two which covers Kaduna township, and one thousand from zone one and one thousand from zone three”.

The Head of Service expressed joy over the conduct of the civil servants during the exams.

She noted that based on her assessment so far, the workshop on job ethics and productivity been carryout by her office in the past weeks is yielding positive results.

Mrs.Jummai Bako  appreciated Governor Uba Sani for the timely and prompt release of funds towards the exams and the training and retraining of the work force in the state.

She maintained that  Civil servants in the state now have rest of mind regarding job security and called on them to work hard to compliment the efforts of the state government.

On their part, some of the civil servants interviewed, Zaka Nuhu from the ministry of health, Zulia Mohammed from the ministry of education and Lucky Paul from primary health centre expressed satisfaction with the examination, saying the computer based test is fast and without stress.

They pledged to put in their best while discharging their duties.

The Computer Based Test, CBT examination is been conducted by the office of the State Head of Civil service for civil servants in Kaduna State that needs to be confirmed staff after their first employment.
