Jigawa State Government says the present administration is constructing, reconstructing, and upgrading roads to achieve its agricultural development agenda.
Governor Umar Namadi stated this while flagging off the asphalt laying on the Dandi–Farin Daba–Gàda road in Kazaure Local Government Area.
He explained that the state government awarded the project at a contract sum of over ₦8.2 billion, with a completion period of eighteen months.
The Governor also flag off the construction of road from farin Daba,Galo Babba,Galo karama at the contract sum of six point three billion naira.

Malam Umar Namadi stated that construction of the road will provide easy access to farmers in transporting their farm produce to markets.
He therefore assured people of the state that the present administration is determined to provide them with basic social amenities.
Also speaking , the state commissioner of works and transport Engineer Gambo S Malam noted that, the Dandi, farin Daba to Gàda road project contract is awarded to two firms with a completion period of twenty four months.
Gambo Malam further explained that, other works to be executed on the road include the construction of culverts as well as side filling among others.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the ceremony was attended by the state Deputy Governor Aminu Usman, minister of state education Professor Suwaiba Ahmed, speaker of the state house of assembly, Alhaji Haruna Aliyu Dangyatum and members of the state executive council.
