The Nigerian Army has warned its personnel sitting for examination to avoid resorting to illegal or fraudulent means.
Commander Training and Doctrine Command, Major General Kelvin Aligbe gave the charge, while addressing candidates for this year’s Senior Staff course qualifying examination, held at the Jaji Military Cantonment in Kaduna State.

Major General Kelvin Aligbe explained that the Senior Staff course qualifying examination is an assessment of the candidates’ determination and capabilities to undertake higher responsibilities that may be assigned to them after the exercise.
He noted that it is also a major pre-requisite for the candidates to attend the senior staff course.
Major General Aligbe, who is also the President of the examination panel, charged the candidates to have absolute confidence in their abilities and a dogged determination to succeed in a legally acceptable way.
The TRADOC Commander assured of the panel’s commitment to a transparent, meticulous and painstaking marking of answer booklets, as well as accurate recording of marks.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Commander Infantry Corps, Major General Usman Yusuf pointed out that the examination was an important milestone in Nigerian Army’s commitment to professional competence, development and excellence.
He therefore charged the candidates to be committed, dedicated and resilient to achieving excellence.
A total of two hundred and sixty candidates are expected to participate in the week long exercise.
