Kaduna State Government has re-affirmed its commitment to partnering with the Nigerian Army and other security agencies to strengthen security across the State.
Governor Uba Sani gave the assurance at a gala night held as part of activities marking this year’s Nigerian Army Day Celebration-NADCEL, held in Kaduna State.

Governor Uba Sani noted that the Nigerian Army has over the years, served the country with an unwavering service and loyalty to the constitution.
He acknowledged the sacrifices of fallen and injured heroes, especially those who helped restore peace to the State.
Governor Uba Sani therefore pledged continued support and a strong commitment to the welfare of fallen heroes and that of their families.
Earlier in his address, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Olufemi Oluyede explained that the Army has continued to triumph in all theaters of operations, despite the myriads of security challenges.
He assured that the Army under his watch, would continue to leave no stone unturned in maintaining law and order and even improve upon the successes recorded.
Lt General Oluyede commemded officers and men of the Army for their courage, resilience and professionalism over the years.
He also expressed the gratitude of the Nigerian Army to the families of fallen and injured heroes, and to President Bola Tinubu as well as Governor Uba Sani for their continuous support to the Nigerian Army.
The event had in attendance, former Chiefs of Defence Staff, former Chiefs of Army Staff, among other important dignitaries.
