Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says the state local economy has recorded huge gains over the last three years of his administration.

AbdulRazq stated this while speaking at the Annual General meeting and commissioning of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria(MAN) Secretariat in Ilorin.

According to him the number of active companies in the state has risen from 41 in 2019 to 77 in 2022, representing an impressive 87.5 percent increase.

AbdulRazq said the administration has put in place efforts to bring inclusive growth to the state and make life better for the residents.

He explained that the growth in the number of functional firms has positive impacts on the standards of living of the people.

In his address the National President, Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Mansur Ahmed, assured the state government of the association’s continued partnership to encourage industrial growth in the state.
