The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kwara State Command says it will arrest and prosecute any filling station owner cought hoarding petroleum product.

The state Commandant of NSCDC, Mr Makinde Ayinla stated this while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin.

According to him, the command would checkmate the sharp practices of the erring filing stations who were still selling above the recommended pump price.

Mr Ayinla explained that the corps would also checkmate activities of the pipeline vandals, petroleum black marketers, and those engaging in fuel adulteration and diversion.

He noted that members of the task force of the Command had gone around the 16 local governments in the State to check the activities of the erring filing stations and those buying the products inside Jerry cans and sell at exhorbitant price.
