Zamfara State Government has imposed curfew on the entire State.
Commissioner of Police, CP Ayuba N Elkana announced this now at the Police Headquarter’s during a Press Briefing in Gusau.
According to him, no Movement from 6pm to 6am on the 13 LGA and 8pm to 6am in the State Capital
He said all schools are to be shutdown with immediate effect.
The Commissioner of Police explained that the measures were to tackles the resurgent security challenges bedeviling the State.
Reports from Maradun Local Government Area reaching Radio Nigeria in Gusau said, suspected bandits have today (Wednesday) at about 11am abducted unspecified number of Students in Government Secondary School, Kaya in Maradun LGA.
They also launched an attack on Gurbin Bore Village, but the CP was silent about the abduction and the attack.
