Nigeria Labour Congress Kaduna State Council has condoled the state government and the Council of Chiefs over the death of His Royal Highness, Dr. Danjuma Barde the Etsu Chikun Sir Gbagyi.

A statement signed by the Chairperson of the Congress, Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman says people of Kaduna State have loss a committed traditional leader whose contributions to the promotion of unity cannot be forgotten easily.

He said late Royal Highness, Etsu Chikun Dr. Danjuma Barde during his reign applied wisdom and prestige to enhance peace and transformational development in his chiefdom.

“He will be remembered for his dignity and boundless love for his people and commitment to their well-being and service to humanity.

“My heartfelt condolences to the Government of Kaduna State, the entire Gbagi chiefdom and his beloved family for the loss of the committed traditional leader,” he said.

Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal life and also give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
