Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration will channel more resources into developmental projects that will directly impact the poor and the vulnerable, as well as the youths across the state.

AbdulRazaq made the disclosure when the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu- Gambari paid him a Royal visit at the Government House in Ilorin.

According to him, over the past two years, his administration had made the ordinary people, the vulnerable and the youths the centerpiece of it’s activities as a government.

He maintained that the administration would ensure every segment of the population gets their fair share of dividends of democracy within available resources.

AbdulRazaq said the state government had launched a health insurance scheme that is currently benefiting over 31,000 indigents and thousands more.

He explained that a safety net programme had been established under which at least 10,000 vulnerable senior citizens are benefiting.

AbdulRazaq maintained that every local government area had benefited from the state government developmental interventions in road, water, health, and education projects.

Earlier in his address, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, commended the Governor’s steadfastness and consistency in promoting peace and economic growth in the state.
