All Progressives Congress APC has won the bye election conducted on Saturday at Kafin Hausa constituency of jigawa state.

Announcing the result, the returning Officer Professor Adamu Ahmed Kutama declared that APC candidate Alhaji Muhammad Adamu polled a total vote of 14,924, while the PDP candidate  Muhammad Tambale secured 8,612 votes.

Farfesa Ahmed Kutama said Haruna of AAC got 49, while Garba Musa of ADC had 56 votes.

According to him, Usman Isyaku of APM 72, while Ibrahim Abdulkarim of ADP had 69 votes.

Radio Nigeria reports that the bye election conducted was as a result of the death of late member of the jigawa state house of assembly representing Kafin Hausa constituency, Alhaji Adamu Baban Bare.
