The newly posted Controller of Nigeria Customs Service,(NCS) Kwara State Command , Comptroller Aliyu Bello has urged the officers and men of the command to redouble their efforts towards ensuring maximum revenue generation in the state.
Comptroller Bello made the call while taking over the mantle of leadership from Comptroller Hussaini Ahmed at a ceremony held at the command headquarters in Ilorin.
He advised the officers and men to give their best in reducing activities of smugglers to the minimum.
Comptroller Bello urged the officers to imbibe the culture of transparency and professionalism in discharging their duties.
The custom boss said he will place the task of securing the land borders on utmost priority.
In his remark the outgoing Controller , Hussaini Ahmed urged officers and men to support the new controller toward attaining the enviable height of revenue generation,as well as the suppression of the activities of smugglers.
