NGSG To Partner Stakeholders To Improve Iives Of Nigerlites

Niger state government has expressed its rediness to partner with any organisation willing to impact positively to the lives of its people.

State Governor Ah Abubakar Sani Bello said this at an occasion organised by a Non Governmental Organisation the Niger state chapter of Abdullahi Gwandu Association to solicit for fifty million naira for the construction of fifty bed capacity hospital in Minna.

Represented by the Commissioner of Land and Housing Alh Danladi Usman Doko the Governor maintained that improving living condition of Nigerlites remain his administration cardinal principal and that will welcome any move targeted at achieving this objective.

Alh Abubakar Sani Bello who described health as wealth explained that since his assumption as Governor his administration has accorded health sector the needed attention it deserved and applauded executives of Abdullahi Gwandu Association for doing more to compliment government effort which he described as appropriate and commendeable.

Emirs of Minna and Gwandu Alh Umar Faruk Bahago and Alh Muhammadu Ilyasu Bashar represented by the Cika Soron Minna Alh Suleiman Babangida the Emirs said they are in full support of the motives and ideals of setting of the Abdullahi Gwandu Association in Niger state and assured of their support at all times to succeed.

In his welcome address Chairman Niger state chapter  of Abdullahi Gwandu Association Alh Hassan Usman Shiroro said the Association has spent millions of naira in providing assistance to some widows orphans and those in IDP camps in parts of Niger state.

Alh Hassan Usman Shiroro said their decision to organised this gathering is born out of their genuine interest to construct  a fifty bed capacity hospital for the benefit of people from Kebbi and Niger states in addition to other people from accroos Nigeria Union and beyond residing in Niger state.

Representatives of APC Gubernotorial candidates in Niger and Kebbi states Alh Umar Mohammed Bago and Alh Nasiru Idris as well as their countrpart from PDP in Kebbi state General Aminu Bande retired have contributed positively to enhance the success of the exercise.

Secretary General of the Association Malam Muhammad Ahmed Baba in his remarks said the Association which started four year ago with seven to ten members now have about one million people from Kebbi state residing in Niger state with more emphasis on promoting unity among members irrespective of ethnic and religious differences.
