The Commander General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina

The Commander General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, Sheikh Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina has urged the general public to go out enmass to receive the coronavirus immunization, because of its health benefits.

Sheikh Ibn Sina made the appeal during a monthly briefing of Hisbah corps held at it’s headquarters, Sharada Kano.

The Commander General explained that preparations were in top gear between the agency and Kano State Taskforce on Covid 19 to commence a sensitization campaign as well as administration of the vaccine at the Hisbah headquarter.

He said there are a lot of misconceptions about the virus and the immunization as such there was the urgent need for adequate enlightenment to achieve the desired objectives.

Sheikh Harun pointed out that, the board had also mapped out strategies to train and retrain it’s personnel to compete with their counterparts globally.

He noted that,the capacity building workshops and seminars will target the entire hisbah corps in all the 44 local government areas.

He advised the hisbah personnel to always maintain cordial relationship with the general public and to always dress in their uniforms and Inculcate good moral values according to the teachings of Islam.

Sheikh Ibn Sina added that, the agency had received over five thousand applications from people who wished to be appointed as hishah marshalls.

Radio Nigeria recalls that, few months ago the Kano State Hisbah Board announced the commencement of sale of forms for the appointment of over two thousand hisbah marshalls across the 44 local government areas.
